Re: Seinfeld thread (had to happen)
I loved The State. I should probably YouTube a couple episodes to see if it has held up.
For some reason, I never got into Kids In The Hall. Not totally sure why. I’m sure I tried to watch it once or twice. I’m sure at this point, trying it now wouldn’t have the same effect that it would have by really getting into it as a teenager

Re: Seinfeld thread (had to happen)
You should check out their documentary. I wasn't ever that much of a fan of their show either, but this made me fall in love with them. I need to rewatch Brain Candy because I didn't get it at all in 1996.

Re: Seinfeld thread (had to happen)
I thought Brain Candy kinda sucked save for a few jokes but haven’t given it a chance since college. In all fairness it was produced right after their final season which was pretty fuckin weird. Think they just ran out of ideas.
Getting back on track most 90s tv comedy was fucking retarded. I had forgotten about Living Color and Wayans Brothers though.

Makes sense. I remember it being kind of dark for no apparent reason

That also explains why there are very few scenes with the whole crew together in the movie.postaddiction wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 12:50 pmThey said they were all depressed and not getting along with each other around that timehipster holocaust wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 11:30 am I thought Brain Candy kinda sucked save for a few jokes but haven’t given it a chance since college. This is insanity. What about 80s shows that kept on into the 90s? Cheers never fell off.kevin hash wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2024 11:33 pm Have never watched it. Never will.

Re: Seinfeld thread (had to happen)
Seinfeld is 89’. I can’t think of a sitcom that originated in the 90’s that I would want to… News Radio! Actually Fraser is watchable as is King of Queens. Fuck 2K sitcoms… Always Sunny. I give up.godofdeadlydeath wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 12:26 pmThis is insanity. What about 80s shows that kept on into the 90s? R.I.P. to John Amos, who played Will's girlfriend Lisa's dad, and then ended up marrying Will's mom. He was a great character on there.hipster holocaust wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 12:18 pm Fresh Prince will always have a place in my heart’s guilty pleasure section

Cheers was dead to me the minute Kirstie Alley showed up.godofdeadlydeath wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 12:26 pmThis is insanity. What about 80s shows that kept on into the 90s? Cheers never fell off.kevin hash wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2024 11:33 pm Have never watched it. Never will.

I was okay with Woody replacing Coach but everything else was a bridge too far.
Never watched Fraser neither. Didn't need it.

Back in the day Kristie Alley was hot as fuck though.
I wanted Shelly Long’s character to die in every single episode she was in.
Frasier kicked ass, give it another spin mang
