i got 3 hrs tops the night before so i was a zombie turning in early yesterday, i still find the melatonin doesnt do anything to help me fall asleep but once i am asleep it increases the quality and depth of it a lot. also hate the zombie feeling waking up the next day so i have to give myself over the 9 hours of sleep just to burn it off

Ive had insomnia for most of my adult life. It comes and goes but there have been years where I'd miss entire nights of sleep regularly, sometimes 4hrs a night sometimes 6. I dont think ive gone two weeks straight of 8 hours since i was 13.

I have no idea whats wrong with me, and ive tried almost every sleep remedy at one point or another. Most give me really odd effects. The strangest one by far was melatonin, since it seems so gentle and benign otc thing.

does fuckall for sleep, but the day after I feel like I'm in a fucking nightmare. Like genuinely psychotic thoughts and feelings, underwater witch-curse mode. I've tried it twice and I'll never fucking touch it again.

I only drink on non work days but I had 50 oz of hurricane malt liquor last night then a 25 oz bud ice and topped it off with a craft beer. Slept about 6 or 7 hours and feel fresh as a daisy. I think you've got the right idea.

When my niece was 6 or 7, I got her a Motorhead shirt. During the time she had it, my dad ended up in the hospital with something pretty serious. One of the times my sister and niece went to visit him, she wore the shirt. It happened to be at the same time the pastor of my parent’s church was visiting. He was actually a pretty cool guy, but if he would have looked my niece in the eye and told her to name 3 songs, I might have started going to church.
