Was that looping, or did she have like 4 eggs shoved up her art? Also Im impressed that a woman can train herself to lay eggs.
I fucking hate performance art.

The guy who shot them was 25. Goddamn millennials. Back in my day if teenage cheerleaders got into the wrong car that guy would be going to jail for a totally different reason.

I just found out that the lead singer of Ugly Kid Joe was Life of Agony’s singer as well at one point. I’m confused.
Don’t forget androgynous Pat from SNL was in an Ugly Kid Joe video and song so now we’ve come full circle.
^^ There's a pretty good schizo tinfoil legend about a bunch of special forces guys fighting a giant in Kandahar during the 2nd iraq war. Ive seen people mention it on tiktok and stuff, always totally serious. A lot of that shit makes for such good fiction.

It's affordable to press as an artist and there's a market for it. That right there is a huge advantage over almost everything else. Many people will look at s release that went physical, while ignoring it if it's just another thing dumped to bandcamp.
The wow and flutter of tape is also very good for electronic music, which tends to be made out of perfectly consistent repeating tones. The variation is hopefully subtle but makes a huge difference to keep the ear interested. Same with beats and stuff, which has a huge cassette scene (tho dwindling now). The real bitch is that tape players are dying left and right and aren't easy to repair- and tape decks made after 2000 are absolute dogshit. ..
Its hipster niche stuff for sure but there are arguments for it.
