my front door was walled shut with snow, it's a good 8 feet of snow in front of my house. It took most of sunday to clear a walkable path. I prepared for this so I had enough food and water to not freak out. none of my utilities went out either.

most of the businesses around here have been looted. when I was in 7/11, people were running out with shit and they were open but they only had two female cashiers that couldn't do anything. the cops can't do anything either. people are mostly looting beer and tvs.

i walked about a mile to price rite yesterday, they were the only thing open at the time. there were abandoned cars scattered in the street. someone plowed a single lane path that zigged and zagged between cars and light posts. when i was walking back, a semi truck attempted to get through but hit a light post and was stuck.
