I can't imagine going out of my way to hear that Shellac album, but I think it would have been a little better if it was an instrumental album.

As far as going back on albums that we glossed over from this year, I didn't listen to the Gazelle Twin album until last week. I wish I didn't wait on this one. It's so grimy:

I appreciate that, but I was just trying something new this year. I have clearly marked what it great and what was just noteworthy. Its easy enough to use this as a resource to find good stuff. I'm not trying to offer my opinion here as much as I am trying to offer exposure to great art.
