I finished watching the RFK documentary where he was ridiculing Jim Crow states for having literacy tests before voting. While I realize this was meant to discourage voters of color at the time, I can’t be the only one that thinks this is a superb idea for absolutely anyone who wants to vote presently.

Voting rights as something you earn would inarguably improve things, but would inevitably be misused imho as in the RFK example.

For another example, I am a belligerent retard with a sticky peanut butter face. Should I be allowed to vote? Of course not. But I'm also a land-owning white. How can these things be reconciled?
