how the hell do you do that? Train the parrot to learn specific little cues and then play a song in that scale or something?
I've seen a few where one bird seems to know little vocal lines that work on top of different songs. From what I understand, birds have no idea what notes are - they don't understand what a melody is anymore once it's been transposed into a different key or octave (can't recognize the same sequence of notes as a pattern relative to one another when put into a different context). It has to be the exact same pitch and rhythm or they think it's a totally different 'word'.
SO HOW ARE THESE BIRD GUYS DOING MULTIPLE SWEET JAMS WITH A SINGLE BIRD BUT DIFFERENT SONGS
