it was funny but the joke went on waaay too long

I don't like their music, but it doesn't have quite the negative impact on me it does on some. A few of their songs are truly awful, but mostly it's just bad but easy enough to tune out.

Kiedes's face us truly awful and if I have to see it for more than a second or two I get violently angry. When they cut to him at UFC broadcasts I involuntarily groan in annoyance. And the MMA world is populated almost exclusively with Faces You Hate.

What I hate more than any of it though is the fucking band's various shorthands and how people will say with casual familiarity "The Chili Peppers" "RHCP" "The Chilis". THAT makes me want to just lie down and die.
