Gen-Zers say they feel attacked whenever they see a 'passive aggressive' thumbs-up emoji

I probably posted this one when I learned it a few months ago, but I'm still reeling. I thought I was misremembering the number, and had to look it up again because it seems impossible/insane:
Humans and Big Ag Livestock Now Account for 96 Percent of Land Mammal Biomass

I guess both people and cows are way larger than most other mammals? Like it takes a lot of raccoons to rival your average Australian.

Wonder how we stack up to urban rats

Both their Kids were shot and bleeding. They didn't drive to the hospital. Florida Red State
Both men stopped their vehicles when they saw a sheriff's patrol car, got out and began arguing.

"Now you just stay there and don't run away while I bring my child to school. Gotta have priorities in today's crazy society ya know. Education is so important"

What the actual fuck.

Missouri Red State

https://currently.att.yahoo.com/att/wom ... 41762.html
A woman in Missouri, allegedly held captive for around a month as a sex slave, was found by police with an electric dog collar around her neck that restricted her breathing and wearing latex lingerie
The woman told police the suspect “whipped” and raped her “frequently” and kept her in a small room in a basement.
“He kept her restrained in handcuffs on her wrists and ankles. She was able to get free when he took his child to school,”

I was trying to find more information on that Lunchbaglujan girl and came across the phrase “thank me for my cervix” which apparently is a pretty common snarky phrase military chicks use?

And then I randomly get an email link to this documentary:

I was going to say a lot of mammals are just little itty bitty things but that’s still a staggering number. And of that 96% only 35% is actually people. I’m reminded of those three people who drowned in a river of industrial pig shit.

Yeah its bleak, its a lot of ground to cover... but I believe in humanity, if we pull together I think we can eat the remaining 4%
