A little nostalgia-drenched for my tastes but all in all I thought it was fucking awesome. Pretty much got better and better with each episode.

I've still got one episode left, but even if that's total garbage I'm still totally on board with this show. same idea as Super 8, but with less schmaltz and more horror.

super 8 could have used a cop who punched their way through the investigation.

think of how much better ET would have been if Keys was dropping kids left and right

I just loved that when he couldn't think of a lie he'd just throw a roundhouse.

That fat girl was such a cock blocker.

Steve had the best hair.

I was totally mesmerized by Steve's hair-- it was actually distracting.

ahahaha yessss

I just finished the season and am so stoked! such a nice surprise overall - I didn't watch a trailer or anything.

I don't think there's much to talk about, things were pretty straightforward and well-executed. I kind of wish they'd flipped the upside down to make it a true mirror image; it'd do uncanny shit to the actors' faces.

of course I'm curious about seeing more of this sort of thing, and I'm horrified to learn that they're planning a second season with the same characters & setting... this would be so much better with an anthology approach. but maybe they chickened out after seeing what happened to true detective?

Elephants Gerald brought up a good point yesterday that the Sheriff is like Nick Cage in Wicker Man

that's a bummer, they ended the season perfectly. was really hoping they would do the True Detective route.

Steve's hair was on point.

Another i notice was that everyone in the show doesn't fit nowadays' standard of beauty. everyone, even Winona looked like they were a product of a nuclear waste site. it's awesome.

Not to be the obligatory hater, but this show was just "OK." Like 6-7/10. Not bad, well-done and all that, but people are losing their minds over it. Meanwhile, I was playing Fallout Shelter during most of the middle of it. The high school drama stuff was a bit much.

I wouldn't watch it again, but I am glad I watched it the first time.

i really did not love this either but i haven't wanted to completely shit on it. it needed a better script and it felt too much like a remake or an homage all the damn time. but i loved the d&d stuff and the kids.

I ruined the whole show in the first episode when they're all in the forest yelling "Will ??! WILL !!" and I yelled "WILL !!" in Uncle Phil's voice

Then they kept yelling WILL in every episode

:awesome: :awesome: from the dumb subreddit :awesome: :awesome:

Why Mike still care about Will's Life even with a "supposed" Death of Eleven?

If I had a girlfriend with super powers that allows rob banks and jewelry without difficulty, and IF SHE DIES, I'll be really upset about what I DID that allowed this course of events.
Why Mike don't care about Eleven's Death? Why is he happy about his "useless friend Will" that don't make any money for him and don't give kisses either? Why Mike doesn't realize that he will never be able to find another girl with the Eleven's powers? He lost most important opportunity of all his life, all because of Will.
The minimum I would want that Mike had say to Will is: "It's all your fault, your fucking NERD, I don't have money because I try to save you, but I'm fucking mess up, AND HAVE NOTHING MORE THAN YOU, fucking loser which not even able to defend yourself."]
*Sorry if you don't understood me, I'm not native american.

I think it's a miracle simply based on the tone not being totally fucked and the kid actors not sucking
