Basically, Domination was already a giant shit sandwich, then Trey pulled a total ego trip with FFttF and somehow made their best album ever, and ever since then they've been out of ideas and just sort of making albums without really knowing why.

Formulas was my favorite MA album but over the years, it's been straddling between 2nd and 3rd because of how it peters off at the end. As an album, it's inconsistent. I think Gateways is their most consistent album from beginning to end - and yes, even the last song which is great closer
