One of the most in-depth studies to date shows ivermectin is completely ineffective at anything less than a lethal human dose at preventing or treating Covid.

People like Joe Rogan and Brett Weinstein belong in jail.

OG Omicron is BA.1. Then there's BA.2 and now BA.2.12.1. Arguably BA.2 shouldn't even be called "omicron". It's about as similar to BA.1 as Alpha is to Delta.
There are other major variants like BA.4 and BA.5.
oh cool thanks

I’ve never gotten sick from the flu and I’m about ready to idiotically believe i’ll never get those horseshit virus either

I heard Steve Guttenberg declined to be a part of BA.4 and BA.5.

this is pretty wild

I just had my first exposure and I think I came away unscathed

any other SARS-CoVirgins? risk is pretty low in basements, so I presume I'm not alone

my apartment in berkeley is on a hill, bottom part of a house... closest thing to a basement you can get in dumbass CA

I have been sick twice since Feb of 2020, with a suspected exposure and illness before all it was recognized as a pandemic (co-worker went to Mardi Gras in 2020), but there was no testing and I only had fever / body aches / very bad GI issues - no respiratory involvement. The other time I was sick I had the same symptoms but tested negative.

So I think I've never got it?

No COVID for me yet, I wear N95 masks and got the latest booster like a good Fauci-boy. Definitely not interested in getting micro-clots or whatever long COVID is caused by.

Thinking about this and reading the study, I'm pretty sure that level of outdoor transmission is bullshit. Are they saying he got it from an airplane seat at 10:00 from people who sat there at 8pm the previous day?

They mention "Gene analysis from the 39 cases showed highly homologous when compared to Patient Zero" but don't talk about methodology or if it was only a partial sequence. I'm not an expert in this field, but they also don't include any of that data in the study.

But it does seem to come at a time that it would be really useful for China's Zero COVID policy to be used against those protesting it. Seems more likely that there is a lot more transmission than they will admit to or realize.

Got boosted a year ago, got it twice since.

Family had zero symptoms either time I had it, but got it a separate time, and I had no symptoms.

Debating on the Pfizer omicron booster. Would almost rather just use some sick leave for a few days than get my ass kicked for 1.

Yeah my co-workers all got the nu-booster on a Thursday or Friday so they didn't miss work. What the fuck people, the weekend is MY TIME. I got my boosters all on a Monday or Tuesday - AT WORK. Didn't need to miss any time but I'm not taking any chances.

This is exactly how it's done by pros such as myself and Kevin. Scheduled it for a Monday, took time out of my work day to get injected, and then took the Tuesday off. I don't have time to feel like shit on the weekend! I have to... like, maybe do things, if I want to do them or something.

The latest booster was not too bad for me, for whatever reason - I doubled up and got the flu shot at the same time. Felt pretty rough up until the early evening, but then was mostly fine. Most of my co-workers reported barely any effects at all.

That's in drastic contrast to getting ruined by the second dose of the first vax - out of commission for almost two days and had brutal body aches. I watched 1970s episodes of Match Game whenever I was conscious. The polite jabs and drunk celebrity banter made it pretty easy for me to slip back sleep.

The United States and the communist Chinese government killed millions of people by creating COVID-19.

Well sure, they fucked up there, but zero surprise considering they were government ventures between the two most powerful governments on earth.

Obviously all of those multinational pharma companies got everything immediately correct with vaccines and gene therapies, though, like big pharma always has and ways will, since the era of IG Farben. No need for decades of trials, because even if they had fucked up, they would tell us all immediately. They haven't, ergo everything is fine.
