Starting point with Vollmann

Post by cxwx »

I was planning to read “The Royal Family” but am thinking maybe “You Bright And Rising Angles” might be a good jumping off considering they are both 700 plus pages. A board search shows Scumfucker was balls deep into this dude.

Seems like this guy has literally been everywhere and done everything. The FBI thought he was the unabomber at one point.

Feel free to tell me to go fuck myself too.

Stop talking to yourself, please. I’d rather watch now a days Conners or Punky Brewster than read more of this “feud”... no, That’s a lie. But, stop, please.

I really enjoy that episode of Punky Brewster where she travels to another dimension and has to fight the creature made of pure hatred. I’m pretty sure TNG ripped it off for the “The Skin Of Evil” episode.

Gay for cock was complimenting some one at one point saying they looked like Vollmann, the original poster seems to be deleted though so can’t tell if GFC was taking the piss or not.

I prefer cross dressing Vollmann in the hawtness department

Found a used copy of “The Dying Grass”. Over 1300 pages of small print in hardcover. Not sure what I got myself into.

I've enjoyed "the prostitution trilogy" the best of what I've read of his so far, mostly "The Royal Family"

You Bright And Risen Angels is also good

The Dying Grass was good kind of felt like a really long war journal.

I've been limping my way through Europe Central but it hasn't been holding my interest very well.

I want to eventually tackle Fathers And Crows

I'll mail you my copy in prison. Please reimburse me $14.20. ($14.88 adjusted for inflation.)

It’s very rare that I don’t finish a book but Europe Central was definitely one of them.
