thank you for the reminder on that - that's quite the share! I think that thing was written by a real fucking scientist (or maybe a few people working together... or maybe mostly AI), but unfortunately it reads like fan fic nonsense when viewed as a whole. none of it is particularly dumb or over-the-top; it's just way way way too much information to have been put together. it takes so much work to figure out anything at all, and they've worked out the details of... the entire biochemistry & physiology of these fuckers? and they have a pamphlet about their religion? the idea of scientists doing their own janitorial work is the part that took be right out of it

Most of my opinions on Aliens are based on the book Star Maker which was written in the 1930s. And many of my opinions on religions are based on Stranger in a Strange Land, from the early 1960s.

Manpower would be an issue if everything was stovepiped, but at that point you're getting into so many black-box variables that speculation starts to break down imho.

They author being informed about the alien's beliefs/culture is definitely odd. It's very similar to the story of Bob Lazar, who claimed he was read-in to a similar program and received near-irrelevant information upfront in the same way. Many have speculated that that "extra info" would be a convenient way to ID leakers; if you tell someone that Putin eats dog boogers, you will know who was a badboy if that detail winds up on 60 Minutes someday.

The stuff about the alien's perspective on conciousness as a Hindu field is also very familiar, that's a reoccurring part of UFO mythology. When alleged info/fanfics/leaks like this pop up, there's always these tiny elements which fold into prior chapters. You never know if it's confirmation of an overall truth, or if the author is simply trying to screw with believers.
