HA, I missed the news that Kanye bought Parler - holy shit. I think that was started by Candice Owen's husband - so they just offloaded a dying right-wing Twitter clone on him. What a grift! If Kanye thinks he can use that as a completely free-speech platform, he might be surprised when the app is pulled from appstores due to not meeting their moderation standards.

As far as his music, I never listened to an album, but goddamn am I real sick of some of his songs. Nothing ever struck me as great - but I know I'm in the minority when it comes to his output.

I'm guessing he's not on his meds ever since his divorce, and perhaps not taking meds was part of the reason for them calling it quits in the first place. I'm completely out of touch with his whole orbit though, so what do I know? He seems real manic, and it's pretty obvious from his interviews that he feels that no one can tell him what to do.

I think I’ve probably heard 2 of his songs. The story of him doing the lyrics to “spit it through the wire” and his actual jaw being wired shut at the time and the wires snapping one after the other is pretty cool but probably a tall tale.

Him saying George dubya was a massive piece of shit for mishandling Katrina and the media bias “looters vs finding food” is probably the most reasonable thing he’s ever said.
