Don't get me wrong, I acknowledge there are plenty of dumbasses on the left (it's an - admittedly annoying - minority IMHO), but there's no way these babies are in any way comparable to militia members, Trump nuts, and other right wingers.

They're absolutely "just as bad". The only thing that differentiates one from the other is the particular aspect of the external universe they've decided to destroy lately.

Speaking honestly I have absolutely zero respect for any political ideology whatsoever. I'm purely a pragmatist - you monkeys are going to continue to invent new reasons to kill each other and destroy beauty no matter what I say or do. The only thing a reasonable person can do is lend support to the least obviously destructive course of action from the ones made available by an insane world constructed mostly from rhetorical gibberish.

From my perspective the only difference between The Wealth of Nations, the Communist Manifesto and fucking Mein Kampf would be in the bullshit excuses for harming others which people draw from them. I don't care WHICH 19th century science fiction polemic is your favorite; my job is to try to make sure you don't torch a musem or fuck a baby today.

The deeper someone sinks into these nonsense dream-caves, the harder it is to communicate with them from a position on the surface world. I guess it would be how you define communist. At this point in history everyone should be Marxist’s just from a stand point of a critique of capital, regardless of use of force issues. I don’t understand how people can be so skeptical of state power while somehow thinking consolidation of capital doesn’t and hasn’t historically lead to just as brutal uses of state violence as any other form of government. I don’t really believe in private property rights for gigantic corporations or individuals who’ve amazed billions of dollars as that amount of external pressure that allows to applied onto the whole of humanity is just as savage as the worst gulag. Blaming Marx for the crimes of Stalin and Pol Pot is like blaming Christ for the crusades and the IRA and KKK. It doesn’t particularly matter much at this point in American history as Marx being the most vilified and scape goated philosopher in public discourse. Just at a material concrete level we have an extreme heavily armed contingent of Americans who are primarily cops and military that are becoming increasingly more and more radicalized by right wing dogma, far beyond and more dangerous in numbers and willingness to perform violent acts that Antifa or black bloc or whatever other boogie man, maybe if you’re lumping anti police violences protests that occasionally turn ugly you could classify that as left wing violence. This is something libertarians can never seem to understand, if the state is created by and for the ruling class ( who ever that maybe ) then than is who the state is going to serve. So I wouldn’t matter how “small” you made the government, that small government would still serve that class. If you’re “anti corporate” that’s great but if there’s no state apparatus behind reigning in corporations it’s really toothless, not to mentioning that very same state apparatus itself needs to be brought to heal. ( the health care industry is the largest lobbying group in the United States, spending literally about half a million dollars per House of Representatives member every year ). I just find it hilarious the right has been able to demagogue so well about “radical left socialism” and “identity politics” when the republicans are the most homogenous voting block in existence and there is barely even a left at all in the United States. Really shows the amazing ability if the democrats to always suck as much as humanly possible while being milked for millions by a small group of consultants who tell them to just keep doing the same shit they’ve been doing for 40 years.
