I just remembered randomly today that Katie's AIM name (or some screen name like that) was something like Interzone Machine (?) Very cool that the Burroughs-inspired adventurer in her got to have chapters in an oddball place like Cuba.

Sorry to hear this. Katie had exceptional humour and personality

I haven't talked to Katie in probably 20 years and rarely come on this board anymore but this bums me out.
I met Katie a few times when she would come to shows at Dixie Taverne in New Orleans. We didn't really talk much but it was always pleasant when we would.
I always wondered what happened to her.
So sorry to hear that you're going through this.
