He may currently be free, he may be back in jail, I'm not sure. He spent the night in the hallway in front of my door, and it literally felt like I was defending a fort. I threw piss and bleach on him and his things through an opening at the end of the hall he didn't realize I could get to him from. He went and ran an errand at 1:30, which I could see in my Ring cam, so I quickly disposed of the rest of his things. This morning, his things were gone from the street. No trace of him. My roommate and his fiancé came out and we all had a "ding dong the witch is dead" celebratory morning.

I gave it my ALL. More than anybody else ever has or ever will. He set fire to his last crop of chances and the bridge that he was using to stay connected to me. He is not my friend. He is just a guy who was interesting 20 years ago who has fallen on hard times and is too pessimistic and lazy to get out of it alive. The only thing more insane than him is me giving him more chances to use my support for good. But then he tried to turn it against me and imply he was going to use squatter technicalities to claim legal residency to my apartment and fuck me and my roommate out of our home. He got cops to tell me over the phone that we may have no legal leg to stand on removing him from the property, and then he sends me these little winking "see what I did? beep beep" texts. So shit got a little real last night, hence the piss and bleach and fort defense feel. If it kept going all night, I was going to set him on fire. Fuck that guy. He's a piece of shit. You think it sucks he's out on the streets. He sucks. Robert screwed Robert. No more sympathy from me, his father, or any of the last people to ever be around him in person. He is a narcissist sociopath who probably gave himself paranoid schizoaffective disorder through teenage drug abuse. He can't be in our world mentally or take care of himself physically. He belongs in jail. It's what's best for everybody.

i lost my brother in may of 2021. it's been the single hardest thing i've ever had to deal with save only the years and years my family and i spent trying to do what was best for him. "mental illness is from space" and it can destroy families. ive always loved robert from afar but when i was in direct contact with him it would overwhelmingly bring up a lot of misplaced guilt and emotions that would have been better served invested with my own kin however fruitless it would all be in the end.

there'd always be these really striking similarities between the two of them that are better left unmentioned but something you (post addiction) said about the sort of gleeful knowing winking when he'd try to manipulate the circumstances in order to gain an upper hand on a situation was something my brother would always do to me. fuck you call the cops he wanted me to hit him many many times and would say really unforgettably evil shit in order to make it happen. he was very bad off and far gone at points but he also knew how to play the field when he had to. he was unbelievably cunning and smarter than i'll ever be. forgiving him and myself when thing were the darkest really still feel impossible. i'm very much still imn a little globe of those failures i think
