I said I go to Pat’s across the street instead since they don’t have any boneheaded racist signs saying press 1 for English and 2 for deportation. Been to Philly three times. Relapse Contamination Fest in 03, Pointless Fest in 04, and as a side trip of MDF 08. Both Pat’s and Geno’s were good, but I liked Jim’s the best. I know I had at least a few Wawa sandwiches that I liked a lot but I don’t think it was cheesesteak. Is Tatooed Mom’s not around anymore?

Since it’s my first close not as much as you’d think but enough to float me another week or two. Gave me a bottle of champagne, forgot to tell them I was in rehab for alcohol but have every reason to believe they would still give it to me

Tattooed Mom was hands down my fave south street spot, not sure if it’s still around but a pic of me there was shot during a “best of Philly” article floating around my brother-in-law spotted one day years ago. Another was the birthday bar that still allowed (allows?) smoking inside, I vape now but it was still a trip.
