awesome.
Fact #7
From an empirical viewpoint, the problem with Free Will (and causality) is reconciling determinism and freedom to make sense of morality.

The pig's been fucking the chickens, and inseminating the eggs with bacon! Even though this makes no actual sense, it makes perfect sense in a fairy tale way. I guess the farmer is a god-fearin' man, and bacon'd eggs is an abomination in his eyes. I'd keep on it, though.Necrophilic Mallard wrote:do not get.

seems like the bacon & egg thing is a pretty sweet deal; i'd let them keep at it.

seems like he'd be saying "strike 3" because the chicken had produced crappy eggs...apparently it's "strike 3" because it's the 3rd time the pig has porked a chicken.
either way; i've wrongly analyzed this comic to death; it's not that funny, and likely intentionally confusing.

I'll agree that it's not one of his best, but I don't think any of his stuff is intentionally confusing. Once in a while, he'll do one that I don't get at first glance, but I wouldn't assume that it's his intention to confuse his audience.Necrophilic Mallard wrote:

perhaps, though the first one would've come a lot sooner if the cakes were a different color.chrusti(ns)anity wrote:I'll agree that it's not one of his best, but I don't think any of his stuff is intentionally confusing. I'm not trying to flame you, Geoff, but it seems you have a knack for posting the ones I find least funny. I'll take the optimistic view here and re-evaluate those comics as the ones for people with a different sense of humor than mine.

Re: Do you "get" this comic?
PBF is the best comic on the web. Absolutely no webcomic even comes close. I'm not sure if PBF even really counts as a webcomic, since it does get printed in several IRL publications. The art is absolutely incredible - it carries the joke in quite a few instances, which is not easy to do properly. I can't imagine not being 900% gay for this strip.
His simple, circular heads are alwaysso expressive. Look at the little kid's face, while his mom reads him "Billy" in the Farmer Ben strip.

I'm bringing back Relapse-Prime and no one will know what I did to do it! No one.

Hahahaha, as soon as I saw it on the main page, I knew this post would be more of your gushing, James! Do you want an award for #1 PBF appreciator? One more appreciative post in this thread and you are the #1 appreciator. Do you want it? Can you be that much of a fan?
