I am posting my interpretation of the comic, not my prediction for the future.

I think this presupposes that the S being would love the heart being because they have a lot in common: both are abominations in the eyes of the lord. Because the S being is preoccupied having sex with a headless female human corpse, it doesn't look back to see the heart being, who is crying because it is jealous of the female human for two reasons - 1) normal human body (can have sex) 2) dead (thus no longer subject to human cruelty). The S being has let go of the notion of ever finding love because sex with a human female corpse is easy, not to mention inexpensive.

I think these are just different representations of vertebrate hearts at various stages of evolution. On the left we have a primitive S-shaped heart like you see in a coelacanth (which differs from modern fish) or in early embryonic development. Contrasted on the right we have a complex four-chambered heart.

You can see that the four-chambered heart appears to be crying at the area roughly corresponding to the aortic valve. Is this a sign of aortic regurgitation, stenosis, or even impending dissection at the aortic root? Better call the doc to suggest an order for an echocardiogram.

Even with a stat order, the primitive s-shaped heart will probably finish whatever it is doing before we have all the diagnostic info we really need.
