I'm old and jaded and a total dick, but I dunno... I think if you are going to do collage you might try to use some more obscure sources. Popular current artists might not be the best material to use to express yourself through collage.

Since I never saw this-- i will respond now. Yep, i had a subscription to juxtapoz (before the publication got... stale), and i get my images from there and whatever free magazines or paper/other materials i can scavenge. My cards just go through phases that depend on the materials I have onhand and the style i am into. I do love juxtapoz artists but that isn't all i use. And sure-- i could draw my own stuff too, but i like doing collages with a variety of sources.

Again, photography has been taking up my art skills as of late. Took a bunch of the willowtip tour last night in Miami. Uploading like....100 photos right now. I've been doodling and drawing constantly (mainly for class, but I find it relaxing to go do my own thing a lot). I should scan my stuff....I'm taking a fancy to Brian Mercer's stuff as of late. So rustic, but extremely awesome.
