I was looking online at recent price drops for games and saw Rage is only 20 bucks new. It's only 4 months old and it's already that cheap? Was it really bad or something?

It's 15 on Steam right now.

kingdoms of amalur phantasy phags have been conspicuously silent the last day or two. how is it? are the quests as repetitive/boring as some reviews talk about? that's the main thing i'm worried about. i have another 200 hours of skyrim's go there/kill this BS. is this at least somewhat more interesting?

I'm not getting to this for awhile I'm afraid. I'm sticking with Skyrim for now, and will be playing Darkness II along side it.

It's not bad. but it's like a b game that looks like an A game. Graphics are great, the fighting mechanics are great, the rest is really bland, in my opinion. It received a ton of hype, but in the end, it's just not a very substantial game.

Kingdoms of Amalur is fun but I've barely scratched the surface and don't have much time right now to dig into it. Hopefully I will this weekend.

I'll never know if Resistance 3 skull fucks anything because Resistance 2 is right there with Dragon Age 2 as one of the worst games I've every played in my life. Shit gunplay, shit level design, shit enemies, shit story, shit everything. I only paid $10 for it way back when and I was still pissed about the lost money.

While I really enjoyed Crysis 2, the AI was absolutely braindead. Can't compare the dynamics of mp vs a sp campaign. Military oscarmikestayfrosty shooters are kind of boring to me so I'm a bit biased. I know I'm in the minority with liking Rage but decapitating a mutant with the wingstick never got old for me.

Of course it's an earlier build so the cutscenes aren't finished and there are some graphical glitches, but I think it's fun. You know, I was always a big fan of the series. It feels like a true sequel, the look and play of it jives with the others.

I have to stop playing it now because I have to run a bunch of shitass boring benchmark tests for a couple weeks. I'll play this proper when it's released.

anytime reviews say "the game is interesting enough that i was able to overlook its problems" i'm interested. look at alpha protocol or deadly premonition or any other kind of shady game that actually ends up being pretty rad

so hopefully it's good

I tested it some months back but it wasn't my type of game. Are the reviews good? It seemed so...childlike when I played it.

I only played 15 minutes of Kingdoms of Amalur so far but it seems pretty cool. From what I've read, even the developers didn't like the demo and said it wasn't representative of the build they had at the time it was released.

never played alpha protocol, but it's probably better than the shadow of the colossus remake. fuck game reviewers. that shit is unplayable and they jacked off to it whilst wearing their rose-colored fag glasses. aside from the apt criticisms elucidated by one mr. riley-o a few pages back, someone please try to justify not updating the absolutely fucking worthless horse controls. i'd love to hear it, you cock. game sucks and made me not care about last guardian at all. i sorta hope it never comes out.
