spacehamster wrote:Not really. I got the PS3 remakes and vowed to play through all of them back to back, but then I got stuck somewhere halfway into the first one. It's one of those old games that I keep telling myself I should go back to, but playing it always feels a little too much like work, and then something new and shiny comes along. Same reason I still haven't finished HL2.
Just skip to Chaos Theory if you don't have the time to play all of them. And you should have bought that on Steam. :betternotstartanyshit:

I need to get back into that game. Wheel skeletons took a bit of my manhood at one point. :(

totally addicted to Elvira and the Party Monsters on Pinball Arcade.. been tearing up the high scores on it daily too. Had the pinball arcade for a while now but only bought a couple tables on it - this one though is the one i'm really hooked on. Also love Taxi and Fun House though, but those are much harder games.

Didn't have a PC back then... plus I figure the PC originals don't have controller support, and fuck playing these games with keyboard and mouse. I'll give Chaos Theory a look-see. If nothing else, it looks reasonably purdy.

Also, DkS DLC is 100kb key, the game forces a 350mb "update" when you start it up... I don't care because I was going to get the DLC anyway, but it's a dick move anyway.

Aw, come on. It was fun.
Yes it was and still is. If anything BFG edition is slightly more akin to DOOM/DOOM II.

I don't even know what pinning things is, and I'm pretty damn certain it's a function I'm never gonna use, just like beacons.

I miss the old interface from a few years back... this newest one is a clusterfuck of cramming as much shit onto each sub-menu as possible.

do you mean the old school, 2005 blades? i definitely miss those... whenever i use my 360 now (which is rare, PS3 supremacy) it's annoying to try to do anything but play games. clusterfuck is a good word for it

I have no idea what they are trying to do lately with the 360 dash board other than get people used to what might be Windows 8. Goddamn dirty move if you ask me. Not sure if Microsoft is following a plan laid down by Gates for a long term multi-media project or they've gone off their rockers. I say right now if Apple and Valve would ever join forces, it would be the greatest console EVER.

I dare to say it would be the greatest console ever as long as they stay true to form and don't make the iPad a mandatory controller *cough*Nintendo*fart*. Apple isn't the Devil, just the monster with the massive cash flow to provide Valve with the ultimate answer.

Yep. Valve is doing just fine by themselves and their company structure is the exact opposite of what I assume is at Apple. They don't need Apple and Apple certainly doesn't need them.

Really curious about this gaming hardware Valve has been working on...

Hmm? Yeah, well, did you ever imagine Sonic would appear in a Nintedo console on the 90's. Dare to dream.

just found the last car I needed for 100% completion on LA Noire :awesome:

...now I gotta decide which game to play next :/

Dead Space 2? Dead Island? go back and do the DLC for Gears 3? or start one of the RPGs I've had for years and not had the time to get around to?
