My day has been uneventful yet good. Nothing overwhelmingly positive happened, it was just a generally great day where nothing bad happened.
I'm currently listening to The Prodigy's last record and deciding that my first impressions of it being mediocre were unfair and it's actually not all that bad. So, maybe that counts as something positive happening.

The dude who hired me was pretty positive about me making some good money doing it. I know he's trying to make the job sound appealing but he seemed sincere. It's one of the bigger dealership chains in this area so I think thats a plus. He said that at the low end I could expect to make a pretty good amount, more than at the Post Office but not unrealisticlly high. Either way they pay a salary for the first three months and it's pretty good so for at least that amount of time I'll make some mad cash. But fuck, at least it isn't the post office anymore.

salary is definitely good, be careful of shit like being considered an 'independent contractor' and if they EVER start talking about 'ethical' sales or how honest they are or anything like that RUN LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER THEY ARE LYING. sales is a meatgrinder, watch your ass. to prepare for your new job, i suggest watching glengarry glenross.

i think i FINALLY got shit settled with my old gym (never join gold's, they are snakes and have been fucking me ever since i tried to cancel back in october)
i weighed in at 148 at the gym today, first time sub 150 since i moved to portland
going to see Ursula K LeGuin speak at powells tonite!
