I had a FUCKED UP dream last night - I was in some shitty high-fashion shoppe (possible motivation: I'm thinking about buying new suit or nice clothes soon?) and this complete wastoid former HS best friend type (lived in a mansion thanks to work-obsessed never-there surgeon dad, went to RISD, got kicked out, worked in construction and did hard drugs and got neck tattoos) was there sporting a fedora and then my college band's bass player and his wife were there, also both in fedoras and the three of them were giving me shit for lacking a fedora and when I protested, insisting fedoras fucking suck and are a scam, a TV appeared and they used it to play a stupid-looking Mudvayne video (I do like a song of theirs ) to demonstrate what the non-fedora aesthetic really is

and then I was at a art/craft street fair with my girlfriend and her lesbian mom today, and lesbmom 100% purchased a straw fedora and wore it the rest of the day while her original safari hat dangled on her shoulders via the lanyard, bring her total hat count to 2 and putting her peacocking to the next level

No dude I 100 percent love Kevin smith, I'm actually very surprised by the backlash here...? He's pretty celebrated in all of my social circles. That podcast in particular cemented my love of him forever - without a doubt one of the greatest fan-testaments to DC comics adoration.

It's actually interesting going back and looking at it now given the current cultural climate of the board. Most of you cheered me on for punching the fictitious woman, and supported all the stuff I said about how women shouldn't have equal rights to men until they all learn to behave like adults, etc.
