damn. I have Competition.

also, Riley -- your "oh no"s make Satan sound like he's a small dog with a chew toy. "Oh nooo ... Satan's got his squeaky hedgehog, I'd better turn around and run before he gives me puppy kisses!" I'm not sure if this was the intended effect, but if so  .

myself included, i figured you'd have 'er cranker9'd out already!

so beyond maybe dk, any suggestions for future bands that are fun and lend themselves to reworking, guys?

i was thinking it might also be fun to maybe do a more general genre cover thing (like any 80's hardcore, 90's deathmetal, 00's even.

yeah I was always into the DK idea because I've reopened my love affair with them recently... I might bump that other thread or make a new one to see if any other ideas come to the forefront

it might be pretty cool to play musical chairs with who mixes who's track. or maybe make it a seperate thing, where we trade files then the song is due in a month after the initial recordings/mix are due.

i just like mixing stuff i guess.

I have no idea if I'm going to be able to wrap up my song in time. I had to scrap the version I'd spent the most time with. The shit I have now is much better, but it's looking fairly grim as far as my Important IRL Schedule is concerned. Weept

hahaha, I'm surprised you could get through two Misfits songs without similar feelings?

nice work man - I too dig the vox!

1 more song and we've got ourselves an album :D

tclutcher... no idea what to tell you about the vocals... I sure as shit was not about to try and Ozz it up... that guy doesn't parody like Danzig does... maybe if we're mocking the nowadays Ozzy

i love ozzy, but he's no dio when it comes to "tough to cover".

besides, just do whatever you do. ozzy era sabbath vocals are so simple it provides a wonderful canvas to start from.
