a fantastic series, though the finale was sort of a dud considering all the shit they had working up towards it.

bout halfway thru Deadwood for the third time. Goddamn what an excellent show. I didn't appreciate it at first.. found it
pretentious and long winded. Every time I rewatch it though I notice subtle touches I never did before. Beautifully complex
and without the ham fist of overused human drama in the form of romance that most other shows are plagued with.
I give it a 9 easy.

Breaking Bad season 1 - 9.5/10. I haven't even watched the last episode, but goddamn this is so good. I can't believe Tim Whatley/the doofus from Malcom in the Middle puts the show on his shoulders like this.

I'm several episodes from the final, but season two of treme is fucking amazing so far. much better than the first, and easily going down the same route as the wire as far as character and story development. barring any insane retarded bullshit that may come in the last few episodes it's an easy 10/10.

Dexter season 5 - 7/10
I can see why a lot of people hated this season, and while I agree it's probably the weakest, I still enjoyed it. Liddy and Jordan Chase were effective, though I wish Liddy was used a little better by the end of the season.
Hopefully the nanny will be more than just a convenient plot device in season 6. Edward James Olmos and Colin Hanks could be interesting guest-stars.

I'm finally getting around to watching all of Arrested Development in sequence. Goddamn 20 minute episodes are making it hard not to just watch the whole thing in one sitting, I swears.

I'm actually appreciating it more now than I did when it was on TV, probably because I'm not just seeing random episodes whenever I happen to stumble on them.

3rd season was definitely sub-par, but since par for Arrested Development is so much higher than any comedy ever, it still ends up being decent television (except for the Charlize Theron storyline... fuck that).
