The original GB game Link's Awakening is definitely one of the best in the entire franchise. They remade that for GBC, as Link's Awakening DX. 100% Jame Approved.

The other two original GBC games are also quite good, but basically just more of the same - I would save them for the ass end of a marathon, myself.
Awesome. Looks like my marathon will consist of nes Zelda 1 and 2, then snes Link to the past followed by Link's Awakening DX. Maybe the GBC ones afterwards if I'm not burnt out by then. Thanks

I've played every Zelda game (except Skyward Sword), and I can honestly say that Link's Awakening is still my favorite Zelda game of all time.

by right over there
i'm pissed off at my 3DS right now because i got an e-store account up and running and downloaded GBC mario golf for a couple bucks and then was like, let's try this zelda ocarina game, looks fun.

please tell me this is the universally accepted worst zelda game of all time. i could write a thousand word essay on why this game is so retarded. is it a role playing game? then it sucks. is it an action game? then it sucks. is it an adventure game? then it sucks. i want my fucking money back.

don't even reply if you're going to defend the game. i'll accept support pms from sane individuals who wouldn't wish this game on their least favorite niece or nephew.

i feel sick.

Pretty sure Ocarina of Time is pretty universally adored by all non-scrubs

Ocarina of Time was an incredible game back in my mid-teens gaming years. It completely blew my mind to be playing a 3D zelda game. Fond memories. However, like a lot of N64 games, it didn't age well. Tried playing it again a few years back and while there was some fun nostalgia going on, it was a little too clunky for me. Much prefer the clean sprites and tight, responsive controls of A Link to the Past. Definitely not the worst zelda game of all time though. That's way too harsh.

yeah i'd definitely rate it as an above average zelda game. i'd gladly say i prefer LTTP, the first game, and link's awakening over that. and as mentioned before, majora's mask, which is basically OoT with (in my opinion) a really interesting and unique game mechanic

Rumor is it is Zwei (working title?), a survival horror game from the dude who directed Resident Evil 4.

Bethesda needs an entirely new engine and Obsidian writing for Fallout 4. :nopizza:

I absolutely would not mind fallout 3 II. I don't give a shit. No graphical overhaul, no new features - I'd be fine.

Just give me a new region and some new storylines and some ghouls ooohhhh goooddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd

I'm a hater and would probably buy Fallout 3 v 2.0 as well. But, it's not like there isn't room for improvement. I wish they'd make more interesting side quests (no more fetch quests goddammit), make loot actually worthwhile, and not base the game so much around fast travel. Especially the loot. Nothing is worse than exploring some dark cavern only to find a chest with 10 gold and some steel arrows.

I think Fallout 3 is Fallout 3 A, and New Vegas is Fallout 3 B.

Alternately, you could look at New Vegas as Fallout 2 III.

Either way all I'm saying is that I want Fallout 3 64: General Kashew's Krazy Kart Racers Adventure
