hah,. not really.. cool game though. Senkoku 2 is actually probably the best beat'em up on the system though.. that game is so out there.

I loved peace keepers when I was a kid. there were branching story-lines, and characters died. dunno if it'd be any good now, but it was the most unbelievable obscure bargain bin score then. that and run saber

I can say for sure that Final Fight 3 is better than Streets of Rage 2. I love both but FF is just more fun. Better graphics, better sound, better characters, better everything.

Dude....Streets of Rage 2 probably has the best music of all 16bit games.


On another note, I picked up a Sony pvm monitor off Craigslist for basically nothing. I also made a Euro scart to BNC connector. Now I'm just waiting on all my scart cables so I can play all my older systems as beautiful as possible. Just have to mod a few of them to output RGB and I'll be set.

$35 is what I picked it up for. I'm serious, watch Craigslist for them. I've seen a few for around $50 but only now decided to pick it up. It's gorgeous.

They run from 8-25 I think. Mine is 13'', but I don't really have much space for anything larger than that. If you know even a little about electronics it's pretty easy to wire a scart to BNC connector.

turtles IS the best beat em up of all time, but the only problem is it's a tad to easy. and short

kruddy and i beat it in like 30 mins last summer

not the best ever, but surprised nobody has mentioned Golden Axe yet.. man I used to love those games in the arcade as a kid.

aside from double dragon that's the original gold standard

played through Double Dragon 1 in the arcade a few weeks ago and it doens't really hold up.. the hardware it runs on must suck because the slowdown is ridiculous.. still was fun though.
