I assume DeadWalrus is not talking about dog parks, because if he isn't I totally agree with him 100%. If you let your kid loose in a dog park you are fucking stupid. If you let your dog near anyone outside of a dog park without their consent, even on a leash, you are fucking stupid. In general a great percentage of parents AND dog owners are.....fucking stupid.

Damien I wouldn't recommend a pit-bull as a 1st time family dog...
I would avoid Molosses, they can be a handfull with their weight and personalities...
And Aussies are happier with other Aussies, they need A LOT of exercise.

Yeah, I see those "imaginary" stories in the paper every few months. Fuck pits. I lived with two, and we were cool, but aside from being filthy, drooling, over-aggressive beasts, they are always capable of flipping out and killing somebody. Any pit caught running around in public should be put down on the spot.
