This isn't a venacular but a localism, fuck it. I've lived in the same city for about 25 years having moved from the California Bay Area and lived in Kansas before that and people call certain insects here "bees" which annoys the shit out of me. A bee is an orange thing which makes honey and its own intestines are ripped out if it stings you. A bee is not a yellow jacket or a hornet or a paper wasp. I don't hear those yellow things called "bees" very often anymore but this still irritates me to this day. If you also happen to live somewhere where you call a flying yellow piece of shit a fucking "bee" you deserve to be shot in the face.
this might be my new number one. it has an acceptable use, like the other search result I found here: "can't find a full song online - I'm not looking very hard, either - but I saw this guy perform at some lowkey show in Ringwood last month." totally fine usage of lowkey. no feelings of irrational rage.
but throw in something like "oh man this avocado toast is lowkey delish" and I'll lose my mind. I wonder if anyone has tracked the usage of it because I feel like it's fucking exploded within the last year or so.

I finally heard someone use it IRL and the context was just horrible
"that movie was lowkey super rad"
it's when it's used as a modifier that's terrible, not when it's a descriptor - I think worthwhile people hella get the difference

she's saying "finsta" which apparently is a slang for an alternate instragram account where you can display your total shitbaggery without your parents seeing.

"____'s got jokes"
Like after John says something funny and everyone laffs, then Pete says, "John's got jokes." Yeah, he just told one, stupid. Thanks for the update.
Anyway I realized this one after saying it myself and immediately hating myself utterly.

"-er than a bitch"
This one actually makes me smile the same way Juggalos (who are exactly the type of people using this phrase) do, but it's an interesting addition to the lexicon. "Gooder than a bitch," "Funner than a bitch." Usually the first word is a nonexistent comparative.
