the best black mirror episodes are worth all the praise IMO - do you think those suck or that the average episode sucks? it's a different ballgame with an anthology

I've watched the first two BM's and liked em even though they were pretty depressing.

yep, those opinions are spot on
also probably worth watching:
national anthem
one zillion credits
xmas special
nosedive
san junipero
hated in the nation
list is trying to be chronological - not by priority. national anthem is kind of iffy.
there are flaws in 'em all but at at least they're only 60-90 min
the Waldo moment might be worth more now, as we sink into trumpland

i mean i'm not going to not watch the rest but given how red faced and breathless the recommendationing has been, in my experience, it can't not be totally overrated. i havent't read any posts about it on the board i dont think. i was probably avoiding spoilers. it works perfectly fine as quasi twilight zone tv so thats cool. its more than a little bad at being near future satire, the people on exercise bike dystopia episode wasn't even bad necessarily it really was just..
the "bad" ones all have a couple moments in them where they've made their little 'point' and i have to just stare at the ceiling and let it pass
the actors and execution aren't the problem

Really love the long White Christmas episode with Don Draper
and yeah I watched the Waldo episode after the election, I rather liked it

I didn't even realize it was out! good to know. based on the teaser or whatever... it looked like it could be OK! netflix's two-part release strategy though
that picture was taken at my close friend's wedding, which was around halloween (hence the costumes). a few years prior, she had given me her OKcupid password and I was scouring the database like a crazed ape
as her until I came across a guy that seemed slightly bonkers (in a cringey way) but still... up her alley. that's the guy she ended up marrying! and now they are getting a divorce

goddamn RW, I forgot you did that
you've had some fucking outstanding halloween costumes over the years
I'm gonna watch this new season just for old times sake. I've been weirdly nostalgic for 2015-2016 lately...

I have been digging it. I go into this show knowing it's going to be campy so I have no expectations.

yeah its really fucked up to watch that much show and then try to map out how little really happened
there's still 3-4 hours left?
