My only exposure to Jarboe was that Neurosis split and I thought it fucking sucked. I just checked out some other SWANS stuff and surprisingly enjoyed it.

Pre and post Jarboe is always excellent.

The best song of theirs that she is on is "The Yum Yab Killers"

The documentary is really good. It's on tubi right now.

i was never able to really get much into their reunion albums at all. still don't know why. i just recently picked almost everything up on cd though and i'm going to give it another go

They are all killer because the kind of tie everything together. But if you want to just cut to the chase go pick up "We Rose From Your Bed With the Sun in Our Head" and "Deliquesence" their live renditions of their recent pretty much crush.
