I ran a record store for about 8 years and we didn't allow dogs in the store. Most stores here don't allow pets.

Just kidding! I'm actually working on a new way to prepare dog meat. My vegan neighbor's mutt had puppies recently, and I scored a little boy-dog. I'm force-feeding it styrofoam and broccoli foie gras style. I'll post my results as soon as I have any.

maybe i'm just sensitive about it from working in a grocery store where people were constantly bringing in their dogs and then acting like i laughingly raped their mother's face when i told them they couldn't, but i didn't even know it was against the health code at that point. i was just completely sick of mopping up dog piss from entitled assholes who acted entitled to bring their dog wherever they wanted but were not responsible for anything it chewed up or pissed on. i also later found out that if your dog bites someone in the store, the store is responsible, so anyone who lets dogs in their store is a fucking moron in my books.
