Stand up people? When people say a band sucks, it's not typically because they think the band members are unreliable or assholes or anything.

I have one. My first guitar, got it from my uncle and I still have it. Mine is a different year, different pick up switches and all blonde. They don't sell for much usually, but they play great.

Those are awesome. I think Nichols used to have one?
I'd kill for one of these with a fixed bridge.

for the travis bean fans: the EGC guitars i was talking about are modern day replicas/unofficial reissues of them. they run about 2-3k and you can actually buy them...
i've loved aluminum guitars since i played one when i was 13.

Awesome! i got a good deal on mine at Guitar Center because it was a floor model. They're great pedals, but mine tends to overload pretty much all the time. Not a problem when i was using it for noise, more of an issue when using it with a guitar. The guy who originally designed it can modify them to fix that, might have to send it his way. Otherwise, i still love it.

i actually had a Ric 4001. It's a beautiful instrument, but it's hard to play, the bridges are fucking awful and it just never did it for me. It was also silver with white trim which was a bit rare. Some kid in Sweden paid me a lot of money for it.
I wanted a Ric 650 for years. I have one now and am looking to sell it since I've been leaning towards single coils. 1st $700 takes it (mind you the stock pickups were replaced with EMGs) The guitar feels awesome. I love the huge neck.
The other guitar I was after was a G&L ASAT special. Just found one for $500 (the real deal: not a Tribute) and I'm loving it. It's better than any Tele I've played.
My dream list is as follows:
- Pre Ernie Ball Stingray
- 60s or 70s P Bass
- This:
Custom built Electrical Guitar with a Dan Armstrong lucite body and an aluminum neck.

I am currently rectifying this one.
Mike, I never had a musician but I've always wanted one. Bass, preferably.
The new EGC site just went live recently, been drooling over these today...

I fixed the link but you quoted really fast. The prices are listed by model on the EGC site. $2200 and up looks like.
