quote taken out of context. lesbians were unknown in my young mind, marissa, and that was my thinking at the time (as indicated by "i remember wondering...").

But what if an alien abducts a girl and her vagina is probed, and she falls in love with them and they go into space? Is she a virgin or just someone who gets fucked by space weapons in a castle on the moon? There's a lot your little theories don't account for.

Ah. I missed that. My mistake. You have to admit, it is a common naivety though... You know... that virginity isn't lost unless penis enters vagina... :|

it's also common to think that oral sex isn't sex because somehow it's not an intimate act? and i don't know how many stupid religios think anal sex isn't sex so they're a-okay to do that before marriage and still be good in the eyes of "god"...but i assume it's far too many.

anyway, i don't want to take away from the childhood naiveties about sex...so please, everyone, post more. :)

after countless men-bashing jokes about not being able to find the clit I assumed it was buried deep in there or impossible to find and then when I got down there was like "oh there it is"

I remember making jokes about babies being born in the bathroom.
I don't know how, but I seemed to frequently know more about this kind of shit than many of my peers, despite never ever having a formal class on the topic. I remember a kid telling me he saw his mom's dick, and I called him on his bullshit.
I definitely remember being scared the first time I came; I was just playing with it cause it felt good...I didn't really know what it was, I was just trying to see boobs through scrambled cable channels. It took a day or 2 of reflection to realize the sticky stuff was normal, and from then on, I planned accordingly.

I knew how babies were born at the sweet age of 4 or 5.
My Mum had a book about birth with bloody close-ups of crowning and other traumatizing pictures.
I was always looking at books in the family library.

That's how I found my Grandpa's porn too, I was something like 8 and I thought all men had cocks like horses.
I then swore to myself never to have either sex or babies.

One of my earliest misconceptions was that boys and girls had identical genetalia (dix & sax) and that the only difference was the toys they played with. Then I started kindergarten and all that crap went out the window. :theylive:

I use to think the vagina hole was in the front not, between the legs.

When I first learned about gay people I didn't get how they had sex. This was at a time right after sex was taught to me. I thought gay men just kind of poked their dicks at each other and lesbians did the same thing but with their vaginas. They'd just stand in front of one another and pelvic thrust.

Haha I thought this too. I never could figure out how sex worked. I don't remember my revelation point, but I know it was pretty close after.

For some reason I didn't think men were supposed to have pubic hair, so when I sprouted a long, thick, gnarly black hair on my pelvis I plucked it in hopes that it would never return.

Just remembered one. I thought a blowjob was when you stuck your dick in a penis pump and made it bigger.

I have to say that I never got the same weird feelings about breasts as I did about bush and butt. Cinemax and HBO are to blame for me being desensitized so young. Boob-sightings were more a time to giggle than cross my legs and contemplate the odd sensation down there.
