The Marvelous Mrs Maisel season 1 - 6/10

I like period pieces, and the drama is watchable. The problem is for a show about comedy, everything seems adequate but the actual stand up comedy. The jokes are lame. They even squander Lenny Bruce. It's the same problem the Tom Hanks movie "Punchline" has. Get some actual good stand up comedians to greeenlight your jokes and the whole thing will be less awkward and cringey.

Here’s my old man rant of the month;

Watched Loki, Hawkeye, most of Boba Fett, and whatever has aired of Moon Knight. Holy shit, what is Disney's obsession with have a women/girl beat up dudes in physical combat? Is it a ploy to get "tom girls" to watch. Is there a large precession of cucks and/or s&m pansies that get off on watching this nonsense? Shit's faker than the sci-fi/comic book narrative of the shows themselves. Fucking annoying and distracting.

Close enough season 3 - 8/10. It's still not regular show but it's name is very apt

Watched the first episode of Arcane the other day. It looks really cool, but the script is so generic, I'm wondering if it's generated by an AI.

Moon Knight - 6

I just watched Guardians of Justice on Netflix. Holy messed up drugs, Batman. Complete spoof (not parody) of the Justice League with a spoof of Watchmen's story of sorts. But, wait, there's more! Spoofs of Marvel, Cobra, Duke Nukem, Mortal Kombat, Call of Duty, Genesis games, politics, and so much more. It's a fucking mess, yet I liked. Last episode was pissing me off with, look her comes a woman to save the day, but NO, done brilliantly to show how stupid bitches are. Neil might not like how it's Superman turns out, but fucking Dimond Dallas Paige ends up being an excellent "Batman". Strange show that does too much video game stuff, but worth checking out.
