I'll give you Tom Petty and maybe ZZ Top...

Depeche Mode?

John Lennon?

If you're only hearing the hits, you're hearing the weakest they have to offer.

This thread will only make me angry... I can tell.

Journey have NO good songs.

Simon and Garfunkel I checked out one of their box sets a while back...better to stay with a single greatest hits cd, maybe a double cd tops.

Ok, so I'm getting the impression that most of you guys didn't grow up in a city with 2 "album rock" radio stations and one classic rock stations. I would've liked nothing more than if on that triumphant night Great White made the world a better place by burning alive, the bill had also included Journey, Foreigner, Boston, Styx, Supertramp, and Kansas.

I'm going to have to side with MPD on this one... I'm a big Misfits fan and over the years have picked up everything they've done... that being said, Collections 1 and 2 are all I really ever listen to on a regular basis.

Controversy time

Listen to everything. EVERYTHING Danzig's ever done.

The Misfits on their worst day run laps around any other song in any other band he's played in.

I just consider this their greatest hits, since, well, wasn't pretty much every song off of it a hit?

growing up, I never minded Tom Petty until someone pointed out to me that his whole career revolved around trying to be another Bob Dylan. Now I can't stand him
somebody had to point that out to you?

Besides "American Girl" and the main riff in Running Down A Drain Tom Petty could endlessly fuck off
