I'll give you that it could have been a lot worse. He clearly went for reverence and a frame-to-screen adaptation approach. If someone is doing that, it should not have the problems the movie ended up with. The main thing that pissed me off was the handling of Veidt. That character represents something very specific and interesting, but ZS's obvious-villain reading was infuriating.Kurt Russell's Beard wrote:I disagree, Ross, about Watchmen being so inherently great that only a buffoon could fumble it.
