always a great choice.

i'll also go ahead and say that their catalog is pretty much killer all the way through.

start anywhere and it will be a great listen.

i used to really love this band but i grew out of it. now it just sounds like brooklyn hipster bullshit to these mature ears.

back in the day (of the last steely dan thread) we had a little Reeelapse outing to the show out here in Studio City. Brian P, neckbeard, Doad, me and my in laaw fam. Saw Gaucho that night, if I'm not mistaken a few others on the board went to on Gaucho night in their towns as well.

Still one of the more inspiring live performances I can remember seeing, and at the Gibson Amphitheater no less, one of the best "big" places to see live music imo.

I bonded with Pretzel and Royal scam on a higher level while gutting the basement in my shack about 13 years back. those are my 2 favorites from the stellar discograpy.. Aja is only a cunt hair behind..

I listen to them a lot anyway but this spring it's been multiple albums daily. A Dan for all seasons :pizza:

played the drums along with Fagen's "The Nightfly" the other night. Pretty good times, highly recommended. Things get a little tricky when you get to "GoodBye Look"...

i remember hearing 'any major dude' for the first time......

any song that starts off with "i've never seen you lookin so bad my funky one" was written by gods from another world.
