So this was insane

My cat was running around like normal today, being a spaz. Then it made a weird noise and abruptly died. Like nothing happened whatsoever, just switched off like a light.

Food in the morning like usual, buried in the backyard by lunch. I kept expecting it to wake back up, quite surreal.

I've had tons of animals and livestock, known a few people who died of various causes, no stranger to the experience. Witnessing it just randomly cease is so puzzling, though.

Appreciate that bro. I'm not too worked up over it, he had a good little life. Just a strange, totally unique event. Confusion sprinkles on your day-bagel

Very sorry to hear about your kitty.

Not to make this about me, but we had our 18 year old, Tomte, pass away in January of 2023 and I still have not reached acceptance. I have two other seniors here, Ze who is 17 and is doing well despite early renal compromise, and Natasha who miraculously beat squamous cell carcinoma on her tongue last year thanks to what we thought was palliative chemotherapy. Little fluffy miracle.

My heart goes out.

I had a 20 year old cat die in my arms. I'm pretty sure I posted about it and soileddepends laughed at me.

That sounds about right for SD. My 13 year old cat died in my arms back in July. She had a lung infection that was likely caused by heart trouble and/or cancer so we had to put her down. Sorry for your losses. Losing pets sucks.

I'm pretty sure this is the first band who's release made me say "wait, why are these people worried about the sex lives of children" when they published a manual on programming a sexually explicit text adventure aimed at pre-teens on the Gameboy.

This might have been posted already, but his idea to pivot to the right via Tucker made me laugh.

Is he going into gen-pop? Will he do hard time or be able to funnel money into the clink to have his own protection gang.

Will he share a cell will Martin Shkreli and they will become diabolical supervillains planning their comeback. I can imagine some ultra libertarian ancap weirdo writing a comic book using that premise only they would be antihero's.

I'm trying to picture some ultra technical version of sunnO))) and my brain can't do it. It's like a true audio paradox.

Well it could be technical in composition, not noodling like Steve Reich? Or more appropriate would be Tool's Schism which changes times signatures a bunch, but still has a simple riff and is super duper boring and I died

The closest thing I could picture is some more down tempo -grindgaze. Or running Orthrelm at %25 speed.
