I haven’t had cable in decades. My only real interaction with it is when the family visits my mom, and usually that mean’s Nickelodeon or Hallmark movie channel. I just saw MTV’s schedule for the first time in forever. Holy ridiculousness, Batman. MTV is now just one of the “channels” on PlutoTv that play nonstop Jag or Hawaii Five-O.

I think that's just the way all cable channels are going now that streaming is taking over. It's a smart move on their part I think. Old people just like cable and that's how they binge their shows. My dad sits and watches the office on comedy central all day full well knowing he can just open up peacock and watch ad free and actually pick whatever episode he wants. Also, this is not the best sketch but it burns that shitty show and channel pretty good!

This entire sketch was written with an over-50 demographic in mind. Holy shit. They could've picked any vehicle to make fun of inscrutable zoomers, but they went with MTV because boomers will understand "mtv = youth"... even though THATS WRONG
I love boomers more than millenials and genz and genx by 1000000x but snl fucking SUCKS now
But this actually was pretty funny

Holy shit. Everything about that rules
Edit: the TikTok guy. James got in while I was watching it. And yes nowadays snl sucks a lot but has a few good ones every now and then. I don't even know any cast now besides Keenan and the hot weird chick that likes death metal

I’d be perfectly fine with the SNL last night sucking enormous loads even with a mildly funny former cast member.
Whoever green lit clips ending up on the morning news with forced laughter from the anchors and still expecting us to trust the news is kind of awesome

All pedophiles should be thrown into a volcano but it seems very obvious to me that he was joking around. I didn't see anything sexual in that video. Unless there's more info I don't know about...

I dunno man, I love to goof off with kids but neither the verb "suck" nor the noun "tongue" ever factor into it
Guess I'm just a stick in the mud !!

He didn't molest the kid though. It was absurd and weird, but when I watched the video it didn't appear to have any erotic dimension whatsoever. He also did it in public and on camera, which he wouldn't have done if his intention was to have erotic contact with a minor.
I'm totally open to reading any other informational sources - especially stuff that would retroactively justify the cultural genocide of Tibet by the totalitarian communist Chinese government, distributed by childless adult fans of harry potter with pink hair. I'm just a simple boy in search of answers!

There is a military surplus* store in North Palm Springs called Traders of the Lost Surplus, and the owner is kinda weird.
*This? This asterisk? When I say "military surplus," I mean it's almost exclusively Nazi memorabilia, vintage and reproductions.
I'm not SJWing it either, I've been poking around his website for a while now, and the one thing I found photographed that wasn't literally Nazi stuff was German WWI pickelhaube (and a text reference to Mussolini's fez, but I didn't see it)
The owner isn't much of an online guy, and the only interesting thing I found about him is that at some point in the early 90s, he was excluded from participating in US procurement/non-procurement programs due to some dust-up with the Defense Logistics Agency, who are the ones that dispose of military surplus.
