To answer one of mr patel's questions... In rural Manitoba my 13yo friend found a banged up cassette on a gravel road and we threw it in a tape player to give it a listen. Both sides were Brocket. That was in 1993... About 1200km's from Lethbridge where Brocket originated.

Still have my 100th generation copied cassette from '92 or '93 from growing up in Prince George, everybody knew the material. Wise guys would constantly do quotes like when people wouldn't stop doing Borat lines. Even the Native kids.
One of the biggest un-Canadian things I find about Toronto is the lack of any visible NDN presence anywhere... Even Ottawa & Montreal you can't escape it, and clearly if you've ever been to any city west of Thunder Bay there is a clear NDN contingent.
What the fuck is that new internet accent? The way the inflection comes up at the end. It's fucking awful, it's like being stuck on a conference call with watery cum.
