I think they’re losing profits to IPA’s & White Claws, and this was an ill conceived move. Better to of double downed on monster trucks & ‘merica. They need a new PR agency.

Maybe. It does seem a bit out of character for their brand, but someone must've thought this would make them money. Plus their stereotypical target demo is, y'know, shrinking, and generally poor. But I'm guessing their rationale is most of their core white trash demo won't care and what they lose in a few outraged idiots they'll make up for by gaining new customers with their "more inclusive" image. I don't know what the percentage of cousin-fuckers in trailer parks is that are following the "culture war", but I'm guessing not that many.
