With that IVF ruling in Alabama, one fertility clinic has now stopped their services. That's so fucked up... people in the process of trying to have kids have just had their hopes dashed by this ruling. I saw a statistic claiming 1 in 6 couples deal with infertility. Considering what an absolute legal quagmire this could turn into what fertility clinic in their right mind would want to stay in the state of Alabama. Republicans are so strangely schizophrenic as they worship the "free market" yet will be willing to lose millions or billions of dollars on cultural war issues.

It's great how this couple who started this legal case wanted a child and needs IVF to do it has lead to the downfall of fertilization treatment for their entire state. That's some Florida Man level shit. Odds are they will become Florida people when they have to drive across state lines to accomplish the thing they ruined locally
