I just saw the news that Lon passed away. I came here for the first time in a while to see if anyone had heard about this and saw the Katie thread, which was news to me. Doubly upset. Take care of yourselves, everyone.

He had family down here and would message me after he left that he'd try to get in touch sooner the next time. Saw him at MDF 2019 and didn't recognize him at first. He kept saying, "There he is!" before I realized he was talking to me. Awesome dude. RIP Lon RIP

Ran into him a few times over the years and he always seemed genuinely excited to see and interact with me despite me just being some internet dork who liked his band. What a sweet, thoughtful guy he always was. My condolences to his close friends here, this is devastating.
