What the hell do you use now? Is Soulseek the only game in town?

I'm looking for some weird, old shit and I may have reached the limits of what slsk can offer. What else do you even do at that point?
I used to have access to a music tracker with pretty good reach, but that died and I don't even know if anything replaced it. Public trackers are basically useless for music...

It seems like DC++ still has active users but the public rooms are a joke

help

also i only download musc you can't buy on bandcamp so up yours woke moralists

i got on some new private trackers but it's a huge pain; i assume soulseek has more rare stuff, maybe depending on genre. i can check if they have the stuff you need

last I heard, the official stance of our woke moralist dictators is: only cucks pay for MP3s

but yeah soulseek was shockingly useful when I fired it up a few years ago

I don't think so dude. By "server " do you just mean sharing the files persistently as a user without logging off, or something more complicated?

I don't actually know how slsk server stuff works

But its such a niche thing, i dont hear about people getting into trouble for this shit outside of running large torrent trackers... in the past15 years anyway
