The responsible thing to do is to make sure you're clearly a guy with a backing band: Neil Young/Crazy Horse, Tom Petty/Heartbreakers, Elvis Costello/Attractions, etc. If you're using a stage name there might be some wiggle room but I'm less forgiving if it's the whole-ass stage name (e.g., the band is Dio and not Ronnie James Dio)

yeah there are almost no bands where the name of the band is just the first/last on your birth certificate. this sets kerry king apart from Dio, Danzig, King Diamond, etc

Why was he throwing picks out into the crowd on the final Slayer tour that had ‘Reborn’ printed on them? Was that what he was going to call his new band but found out later that it was already taken?

When I was a kid in Switzerland and nobody spoke English, a lot of us thought Judas Priest and Iron Maiden were the names of people because it's two words and we didn't know what they meant, so it had to be a person's name. That's what I got.

The buzz around Kerry King's solo crap was non Existent so it stands to reason that Slayer would come back.

New album in 2025 and the only way it will be good is if Gary Holt writes the whole thing.

I came here to argue with you... "It's only been like 2-3." Then I looked it up. Their last show was in Nov. 30, 2019. Now I'm very confused as to how 2019 has become 5 years ago

Tom should place a blank sheet of tablature on a Ouija board and hold a seance with Hanneman to write the next album. Maybe even patch in Himmler and Goebbels for some solos

it also clicked that there are zero (metal) bands with the name of the band being the full, birth-certificate name of one of the main members
