I have a "This is My Important Album I Made" recording in the works, and a for-fun mixtape I'm throwing together with friends. I'm unsure where this jam will wind up.

I've been working on this track since about May of last year... still pretty rough though.
synth, metal, field recordings of Akron, Ohio and the surrounding park systems, cars, horses,ETC
This is the best example of John Bonham’s notoriously squeaky bass drum pedal. Jimmy Page discussed the squeak in a 1993 Guitar World interview:
The only real problem I can remember encountering was when we were putting the first boxed set together. There was an awfully squeaky bass drum pedal on “Since I’ve Been Loving You”. It sounds louder and louder every time I hear it! [laughs]. That was something that was obviously sadly overlooked at the time.
Ha! It grates on me every time I listen to Houses of the Holy. It's funny that they were aware of this rough spot.

I wish I could post the new shit. Soon(ish) maybe.
Final mixing in a couple of weeks!
Well...Zeppelin had a mobile recording studio, right? I think they picked up stuff all the time that they didn't want. There's that song on Physical Graffiti where there's a plane going by overhead and Jimmy Page or whoever says, "No, leave it, leave it..."

This was practice tonight for my new band with my roommate Dylan. I'm playing guitar and he is drumming.
Just a little zoom recorder placed about 1.5 off the ground near the kick and snare.

Double 7" split with Iron Tongue (members of Rwake/Deadbird) on Bloated Goat Records in April... err... blah blah blah... Psychedelic/Alcoholic rock and roll, with a good amount of metal.
